Allegiance

Microsoft Allegiance was released in 2000 on the MSN Gaming Zone. After the game was not a success, the number of players dropped down, but the community loved this game and was able to keep it alive. In 2004 Microsoft released the game under the shared source license, which allowed the community to modify the code and improve the game to run even on modern computers. In 2017 the game was released on Steam, to allow player easier installation of the game. Today the game has several new factions to play and new maps. The community is still alive and kickin.
