Mechvibes

Mechvibes is a simple yet powerful app that plays keyboard sounds as you type — giving you clear audio feedback so you never miss a keystroke. The project originally started as a personal tool. I often typed late at night or worked in quiet offices where the loud sound of my mechanical keyboard wasn’t very welcome. If you’ve faced a similar situation, Mechvibes is made for you! With Mechvibes, you can: - Enjoy classic mechanical keyboard sounds - Switch to typewriter-style sound effects - Add your own custom sound sets by recording any sound you like - Use your laptop or non-mechanical keyboard while still hearing the sound you love - Customize sounds for any purpose (e.g., demos, previews for buyers, fun key mappings, etc.) With Mechvibes, you can create brand-new sound packs, edit existing ones, and share them with friends or the community. Key Features - Mechanical keyboard sound effects while typing - Typewriter sound mode - Create, edit, and share custom sound packs - Install sound packs from the community - Voice packs to help visually-impaired users type more easily
