Specialty Coffee Enthusiasts

Specialty Coffee Enthusiasts is a Discord community of 5,400+ coffee lovers, from home brewers buying their first grinder to working baristas, roasters, and cafe owners. If you care about how your coffee tastes, you'll fit in here. What we talk about: Espresso: dialing in shots, machines, baskets, and fixing sour or bitter coffee. Pour over and manual brewing: V60, AeroPress, French press, Chemex, and more. Gear: grinders, scales, kettles, and honest upgrade advice. Home roasting: setups, roast profiles, and where to buy green beans. Water: recipes and minerals for better extraction. Latte art and setups: show off your pour or your coffee station. Coffee critique: post a bag or a brew and get real feedback. Why join: You can ask questions and get answers from people who make coffee for a living. Members with the Barista and Roaster roles help out in the chats. Home roasters share their beans and results, so you'll find new coffees to try. We run regular events, and the buy/sell channel is a good place to find used espresso machines, grinders, and beans from people who know what they're selling. It's not all coffee, either. We have channels for food, fitness, memes, and off-topic chat, so it's easy to stick around and get to know people. New to specialty coffee? Beginner questions are welcome. Everyone here started with a bad cup at some point.
