Steam City

This server is all about increasing administrator shareholder value. For too long, management viewed our digital community as human beings. We saw them as gamers, creators, and hobbyists. We were wrong. We did not arrive at this strategy lightly. Our engineering team worked tirelessly to automate the pruning process: • The Nitro Purge: We have introduced a feature where if a user does not upgrade to a Premium tier within 12 seconds of opening the app, their account is instantly vaporized. The server bandwidth saved is immediately routed to our AI-driven high-frequency trading bots. • The Algorithmic Ban-Hammer: We trained a machine-learning model to detect "genuine happiness" in voice channels. If a group of friends laughs too loudly, they are permanently banned for disrupting corporate silence. • Voluntary Tribute Pools: To gamify the downsizing, users can now vote to sacrifice other members. For every 10,000 active chatters they ban, the remaining users receive a limited-edition "Corporate Compliant" profile badge. It costs nothing to manufacture, but user engagement among the survivors is up 400%.
